BEEMAN'S, BLACKJACKThomas Adams was the Maker of chicle gum based gum in 1869. His Adam's post of chewing mumble was very popular. To tell apart one post from another, he added shredded licorice in 1872 & created a winner - Black Jack - the first chew mumble to be sold in stupefy form. Adams brands introduced Beemans pepsin in the 1890's & Clove mumble in the early 1930's. (Clove has been retired by the manufacturer) Each load down contains 5 sticks. From Adams.
